Coachella 2023: Set times and schedule announced — plus a surprise guest

The set times for the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival have finally been announced and, as usual, there are some set conflicts and even a surprise guest.

The first weekend of Coachella kicks off at the Empire Polo Club in Indio on Friday, April 14 with Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny headlining. Saturday, April 15 is topped by K-pop group Blackpink and Sunday, April 16 closes out with Long Beach singer-songwriter Frank Ocean.

When the set times announced, fans were quick to notice that pop punk band Blink-182 has been added to the lineup, performing on the Sahara stage at 6:45 p.m. on April 14. This will be the band’s first performance since reuniting with original vocalist-guitarist Tom DeLonge in nearly a decade. Last year, rock band Arcade Fire was the surprise addition to the fest lineup as it played the Mojave tent on Saturday.

There are a few other changes as well including English songwriter and producer Jai Paul moving from the Sunday roster to Saturday. He’s on the Mojave stage at 7:40 p.m., but now overlaps with Boygenius at 8:10 p.m. over at the Outdoor Theater and Eladio Carrion at 8:20 p.m. at the Gobi. The timing conflicts seem minimal, however some sacrifices will need to be made. If you want to see Christine and the Queens over on the Mojave stage at 6:25 p.m. on Sunday, you’ll have to cut your time short at Kali Uchis at 6 p.m. on the Coachella stage.
