Steph Curry had another surgical performance for the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night.
He helped the Warriors take down the New Orleans Pelicans 120-109 with 39 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. It got the former to 40-37 overall, which is good for sixth in the Western Conference.
Colin Cowherd saw that performance and thinks Curry, who already is one of the greatest players to ever live, can surpass Magic Johnson as the best point guard ever.
“Magic can’t drop 22 points in seven minutes. As great as he was, he didn’t have a lot of duplicators. Steph has had a massive influence on the game and I swear in the last year, on his best nights, he’s never been this good. If I were to rework my all-time starting five, I would strongly consider Steph as the point guard (over Magic),” Cowherd said.

Curry has been a freak of nature this season, averaging 29 points, six rebounds, and six assists. He’s also fresh off his fourth NBA Finals title from last year and is trying to help the Warriors win another one this year.
If he can keep putting up these kinds of numbers, it won’t be long until he’s on a lot more people’s all-time starting lineups.
