Commodity Milk Expressive is the Cozy Fall Fragrance of My Dreams

Commodity is a very cool fragrance brand that lets you choose your scent in one of three strengths: Personal is subtle, Expressive is more concentrated but not too in-your-face, and Bold is for fans of big perfumes. I tried Milk Expressive and had no clue what to expect from a fragrance called Milk but quickly realized that, as a fan of vanilla fragrances, this sophisticated yet comforting blend was right up my alley. The warm fragrance contains notes of marshmallow, tonka bean, and of course, its namesake — milk. But a vanilla steamer this is not. The blend has a cool vibe that’s reassuring and easy like a big hug from a friend. Associate features director Dianna Mazzone has also been spritzing it onto her pulse points: “Commodity Milk is the fragrance equivalent to wrapping yourself in a cashmere blanket on a crisp autumn night,” she says. “It’s enveloping, comforting, and somehow familiar-feeling from the very first spritz.”
