The actor has taken a step back from acting since, and in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, Sean addressed whether he’d want to return to the soap.
He also discussed why he decided to leave for good, before making the decision to try a new career – cheesemaking.
Sean began: “I think my career in Coronation Street kind of ended where I think it found its longevity.
“It has finished there, otherwise, I’d just be completely repeating myself year on year on year which is [ok] for some people but it wasn’t really for me.”
