Emma later explains to her half-sister Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) that Curtis is suffering from a factitious disorder and he’s seeing a psychologist.
Amy’s astounded by the news and insists Emma can’t marry him and must tell the family the truth.
Meanwhile, unaware of Curtis’ lies, a drunk Steve hands him his bank card and PIN, asking him to transfer the £100,000 they raised to Oliver’s charity account.
Curtis opens his laptop and takes out Steve’s bank card. Could he end up stealing the charity money for himself?
Worried about how Emma’s family and the rest of Coronation Street could react to discovering his lies, Curtis may want to do a runner.
If he stole the charity money he would be able to start over somewhere new, but would he be willing to leave Emma at the altar on their wedding day?
