Corrie’s Tina O’Brien addresses racy scenes before heading home to husband

Sarah Platt (played by Tina O’Brien) broke her wedding vows in recent weeks on Coronation Street and she is continuing to have a sordid affair with bad boy Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths).

However, Sarah’s life is about to change forever when she learns she’s pregnant in upcoming scenes on the ITV soap. 

But is the father Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) or newcomer Damon? As rumours continue to swirl, Tina has opened up on what it is like to film intimate scenes on set. 

“Do you know what, sometimes you’ve got storylines where you’re sobbing and crying, but I think I’ve paid my dues,” she told Daily Star at the British Soap Awards.

“Instead, I am cuddling up to one man in the morning, and in the afternoon I’m cuddling up to another, and then I get to go home to my gorgeous, wonderful husband.”

She quipped: “So yeah, it’s a lovely job – I’ve definitely had worse days in the office.”

The 39-year-old actress teased explosive scenes lie ahead for her character.

She hinted: “It’s all going to come out, it’s just the tip of the iceberg, it’s messy and it’s about to get even more messy.

“There’s going to be a troubling time that she realises she is with child but she is unsure as to who the father of the child is going to be.”

Coronation Street fans will recall Damon initially got close to Sarah in a bid to get back at her brother Nick Tilsley (Ben Price), but he has developed deep feelings for her. 

Who will Sarah ultimately choose out of Damon and Adam on the ITV soap?

If she isn’t careful she could be left with no one and have a child to raise all by herself. 

Will she tell both the men she is pregnant or just Adam in upcoming scenes?
