They said fines were needed to endure parking spaces were “available to accommodate visitors”. However, they warned no one in particular had been targeted with fines issued to vehicles and not individuals.
They have been spotted in the same car park as recently as November 5.
She said: “Once all the car park bays are taken, there’s an area where people park within the confines of the car park.
“I don’t see a problem with that, but it’s not marked bays. That is where people are getting tickets.
“An 89-year-old man got ticketed in this way.
Jackie added she was “furious” at the incident and blamed the parking attendants.
She said it appeared they were working against the principle of “ease of vaccination”.
“Im furious, really upset that an elderly gentleman was treated in this way.
“What on earth are they playing at?”
