Lee Craig McConnell, 28, of Dorset, pleaded guilty to indecent exposure after the romp was caught on CCTV footage.

It all began when McConnell began parking his vehicle and a camper van in a neighbour’s parking space on a number of occasions, the court heard, according to the Mirror.

That left neighbours struggling to find a place to park.

His actions “led to some tension and arguments” and the neighbour whose parking spot kept getting used was forced to put up a bollard — essentially a bright post — as a blockade.

After the bollard was repeatedly tampered with, the neighbour installed a surveillance camera to catch the offender.

It captured McConnell pushing the bollard over on two separate occasions but recorded him doing a lot more.

According to the prosecutor, the neighbour saw McConnell “masturbate outside the front of his house and had sexual intercourse with his wife over the bollard.”

The prosecutor said of the CCTV footage, “It clearly shows the defendant facing the camera and masturbating. He appears to be talking and she (McConnell’s wife) is wearing some sort of gown, who then walks towards the bollard, goes over the bollard and engages in that (sexual) act.”

He concluded: “He finishes and walks into the house.”

The neighbour, who saw what happened when reviewing camera footage the following day, said she was “completely disgusted” and felt the act was meant to “shock and intimidate me.”

McConnell’s lawyer insisted that was not the case and that his client was “embarrassed” by the incident.

“He had no idea cameras were there,” the lawyer declared. “It wasn’t deliberate and not to humiliate the neighbour. It was clearly inappropriate for something that happened. The whole thing is a disaster.”

The lawyer said McConnell and his wife are now moving.

“All they are doing is removing themselves from a very difficult situation,” he continued. “It is sad and this is a man who is trying to bring up a family and work. He is highly embarrassed about what happened. It is a very hard lesson to learn.”
