Couple marry eight years after bumping into each other

You know what they say, when two people are meant to be together, the universe has peculiar ways of making it happen.

Electrician Tim and administration officer Ashleigh met each other in a crowded bar 10 years ago, but this is not when their love story began.

The pair bumped into each other two years down the track in Mandurah, sparks were ignited and they have been inseparable ever since.

Tim popped the question to Ashleigh after he completed a half marathon on Rottnest Island in 2021, and it’s safe to say she was certainly not expecting it.

When and where

The couple hosted their ceremony and reception at Millbrook Winery in Jarrahdale on August 26, 2022.

Dress

Ashleigh felt defeated after endlessly searching for a dress with no luck, but her friends and family came to the rescue and posted an advertisement on Facebook. Lo and behold, the bride’s dream dress found her when it popped up on social media, and she bought it from Nuku Boutique in Joondalup.

Honeymoon

The newlyweds relaxed in Bali for one week with friends, before heading to Kuala Lumpur for shopping and sightseeing.
