Could Courteney Cox be more like Monica Geller?
The 58-year-old “Friends” alum channeled her beloved character’s inner clean freak Wednesday while visiting her newly-added star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
In an Instagram Reel, Cox shined her star to the tune of Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5,” using cleaning products from her Homecourt line, which she calls “beauty products for the home.”
“Someone’s gotta do it,” she captioned the clip.
“Literally right on the star. You can go around!” Cox joked, seemingly in character, to a group of pedestrians who walked on top of her honor.
The “Scream VI” star also spiffed up stars belonging to pals Laura Dern, 56, Jennifer Aniston, 54, and Reese Witherspoon, who turned 47 on Wednesday.
The “Legally Blonde” alum appreciated Cox’s efforts, commenting, “Thanks for keeping us clean, Court!!,” while David Spade, 58, wrote: “Do mine! Wtf!”
“Only the best thing ever,” noted fellow “Friends” star Lisa Kudrow, 59, who is the only lead actress from the 1990s sitcom not to have a star on the Walk of Fame.
Kudrow and Aniston attended Cox’s Walk of Fame ceremony last month, but their male costars Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer were noticeably absent.
Aniston, who starred as Rachel Green in the series, and Kudrow, who portrayed Phoebe Buffay, praised Cox as a “sister” to them, pointing out they have been real-life friends for 30 years.
“We’re very honored to be here today to speak on your behalf as your co-workers, your friends and your family, your sisters,” Aniston said at the podium.
“To be friends with Courteney is to be family with Courteney. She is responsible for all of that,” she added. “From the beginning of when we met her, she was immediately inclusive, warm, loving, interested in everything about you.”
