Actor Swara Bhasker recently announced that she has tested positive for COVID-19. While there were plenty of people who wished for her speedy recovery, there was a certain section who wished for her death and some were mourning her demise already. However, Swara didn’t take it on her stride but took it sportingly. She took the screenshots of the tweets who wished her death and shared it on her Twitter handle by giving a sassy reply to ‘Nafrati Chintus’ and trolls.
The Prem Ratan Dhan Payo actor said, “And to my dear Nafrati Chintus and trolls praying for my demise.. doston apni bhaavnaaein kaabooo mein rakho.. mujhey kuch ho gaya toh aapki rozi roti chhin jaaegi.. ghar kaisey chalega ?!?” Even her fans were not happy with people wishing someone’s death. A user wrote, “There’s difference between “galiyan dena” & wishing death on somebody,” while another one said, “Love you @ReallySwara these trolls don’t know the real value of you …aap is youth ki awaaz hai Bhagwan aapko jald se jald fit kar de.”

On Friday, Swara announced that she has contracted the virus and had been taking necessary precautions. Her statement read as: “I have tested positive for Covid. I developed symptoms on January 5th 2022 and RT-PCR test results just confirmed the same. I and my family have been isolating since 5th Jan evening… and I’m taking all the necessary precautions. I’ve informed everyone I met in the week prior about my having Covid; but if anyone else did come into contact with me, please get yourself tested. Double mask up and stay safe ya’ll (sic).”
