Cracker Barrel is being hit with conservative backlash with some vowing to boycott the restaurant chain in response to a post in support of Pride Month.
The Twitter warriors were kicking and screaming after the southern chain’s embrace of Pride Month was screengrabbed and shared by the Texas Family Project, a non-profit conservative political advocacy organization, Newsweek reported.

“We take no pleasure in reporting that @CrackerBarrel has fallen,” Texas Family Project wrote in a tweet. “A once family friendly establishment has caved to the mob.”

Conservative campaigners have targeted various companies with boycotts in recent months, including Bud Light and Target, in response to their policies on LGBTQ+-related issues.

On Thursday, Cracker Barrel published a post celebrating Pride Month on its official Facebook page, accompanied by a photo featuring the back of a chair painted in rainbow colours.
The southern-style eatery wrote: “We are excited to celebrate Pride Month with our employees and guests. Everyone is always welcome at our table … Happy Pride!”
