Craft beer and mini golf experience coming to Sunnyvale, Emeryville

Flatstick Pub, the restaurant, pub and mini golf complex, is putt-putting its way to the Bay Area.

The Sacramento-based company has signed retail leases at Bay Street Emeryville and Cityline in Sunnyvale to open what it calls “an indoor mini golf course infused with local art, a restaurant, a large patio, multiple party spaces and a secret speakeasy” in the East Bay and South Bay. In addition to Sacramento, Flatstick Pub also has a location in South Lake Tahoe.

Slated to open in fall 2022, the new locations will have dozens of taps flowing with Northern California craft beer, draft cocktails and locally-sourced wines, with happy hour drink specials from 3 to 6 p.m. weekdays. The food will focus on updated Mexican street food, like elote, churro doughnuts, stout-braised carnitas tacos and Beyond Beef crumble burritos.
