Crisp’s wife breaks silence over AFL star’s nude scandal

The wife of Collingwood star Jack Crisp has broken her silence following the emergence of obscene leaked videos from 2018 of the football star.

In her first public comment on the scandal, Mikayla said she had dealt with the matter at the time and her relationship with the Collingwood star remains strong, despite the leak of the embarrassing photos two weeks ago.

In a statement on her Instagram story, she wrote: “No marriage is perfect, and I have always maintained that our relationship has had its ups and downs.“

“Jack and I have both grown significantly as individuals and as a couple in the years that have passed since the incident occurred,” she added.

“A heartfelt thank you to those who have taken the time to reach out and offer support or kind words these past few weeks.”

The pies star recently issued an apology over the leaked photos, which included references to illicit drugs, explicit photos and vulgar comments.

The 29-year-old avoided a suspension from the pitch, after sitting down with the AFL’s integrity unit following the release of the X-rated content.

However, The AFL said: “The content and his language, regardless of the setting, was extremely inappropriate.”
