Gujarat Titans won the IPL 2023 opener against Chennai Super Kings by five wickets. In the Qualifier 2, CSK defeated the defending champions by 15 runs. The league stage saw GT finish on top with 20 points, while CSK with 17 points finished second behind GT.

As the two teams gear up to clash against each other for the third time in the IPL 2023, let’s have a look at four players who can take most wickets in the match.
Ravindra Jadeja: The left-arm spinner will be the most experienced bowler for CSK in the match and the onus will be on him to deliver for his team. In the IPL 2023, he has picked 19 wickets in 15 matches at an average of 20.68 and an economy rate of 7.41.
Jadeja picked two wickets for 18 runs in four overs in the Qualifier 1 against Gujarat Titans. Overall, he has picked four wickets in three matches at an average of 17.75 and an economy rate of 6.45.

Deepak Chahar: The right-arm pacer has looked in good form in his last few outings. The last five matches have seen him pick 12 wickets. In the Qualifier 1 against GT, he picked the crucial wicket of Shubman Gill and also dismissed Wriddhiman Saha.
Overall, in nine IPL 2023 matches, the 30-year-old has picked 12 wickets at an average of 21.58 and an economy rate of 8.63. Chahar has played two matches against GT till date and picked two wickets at an average of 29 and an economy rate of 7.25.
Rashid Khan: Eyes will be on the superstar leg-spinner in the big match on Sunday. Rashid is currently the second wicket-taker in the IPL 2023. In 16 matches, the GT bowler has picked 27 wickets at an average of 18.80 and an economy rate of 7.93.
In the first outing against CSK this season, Rashid picked two wickets for 26 runs in four overs. In the Qualifier 1, he picked only one wicket for 37 runs in four overs. Rashid has played 14 matches against CSK and picked 14 wickets at an average of 28.42 and an economy rate of 7.10.
In Ahmedabad, Rashid has played nine IPL matches and picked 14 wickets at an average of 19.78 and an economy rate of 7.69.
Mohammed Shami: The India star is also expected to play a very crucial role in the CSK vs GT IPL 2023 final. Shami is currently the Purple Cup-holder as he has taken 28 wickets in 16 matches at an average of 17.60 and an economy rate of 7.95.
Shami picked the wicket of Devon Conway and Ravindra Jadeja in the Qualifier 1 as he finished with match figures of two for 28 in four overs. Shami has played 12 IPL matches in Ahmedabad and picked 20 wickets at an average of 16.65 and an economy rate of 7.29. Against CSK, Shami has played 13 matches and picked 13 wickets at an average of 28.30 and an economy rate of 7.56.
