10 Pride

The Pride is an Iconic Weapon that falls into the Power Weapon category. Its effect reads “The pride of Rogue. Increases Crit Chance and headshot damage. Small chance to apply Stun.” This weapon is a great choice for a pistol due to its impressive damage of 127-155 (scaled to your level), combined with its increased Crit Chance.

This pistol can be found during the main quest entitled “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door.” During the quest, a certain important character will be killed. You can then obtain this pistol off the character’s body.

9 A22-B Chao

The A22-B Chao is a pistol that is classified as a Smart Weapon. It boasts an impressive 143-175 damage (depending on your level) and offers a headshot damage multiplier of 2.8. This makes it a solid choice for a pistol.

This pistol can be found during one of the Night City Police Department’s Scanner Hustles. The specific one is “Suspected Organized Crime Activity #1 in North Oak.” Upon defeating the leader, you will obtain this weapon.

8 Chaos

Chaos is an Icon Weapon that is classified as a Tech Weapon. It is named Chaos for a good reason. Its effect reads “Crit Chance, damage type and status-effect application are randomized after each reload. Good luck!” This means that each time you use the gun, these stats are randomized. It also has a damage between 146-178. This interesting mix makes this a great gun.

This weapon can be obtained during the quest “The Pickup,” a main mission quest. In order to obtain it, you will need to kill Royce or make him hostile while in the All Foods Maelstrom Hideout. You can find the weapon there.

7 Apparition

Apparition is another Iconic Weapon that falls into the Tech Weapon classification. Its effect reads “Increases Critical Chance, fire rate, reload speed and damage when your health is very low. The Apparition pistol can be found on Frank’s body during the side job entitled “War Pigs.” It is required that you have a Corpo-Rat background in order to obtain this side job. If you do, you will be able to obtain the Apparition.

5 Unity

Unity is a pistol found in the game that follows into the Power Weapons category. While the pistol doesn’t have any special effect, it does boast an impressive 158-200 damage. This makes it an amazing option. In addition, it has a fast Attacks Per Second at 3.4.

The Unity pistol can be found through several NCPD Scanner Hustles. These include “Assault in Progress #2 in Little China, Reported Crime #1 in Little China, Hidden Gem #2 in Downtown, and Hidden Gem #14 in Northside. Additionally, you can find this at the different Gun Vendors around the game.

4 Plan B

Plan B is an Iconic Weapon that falls into the Power Weapon type. This pistol is a powerful one, but it will cost you. Its effect reads “Bullets have a higher chance to apply Bleeding, but keep an eye on your wallet! Every shot costs you eddies.” This weapon’s ability to cause Bleeding coupled with its damage (165-205) makes this an amazing choice for a pistol; however, make sure you only use it when you need it.

The Plan B pistol is found during the quest “Kold Mirage.” During this side quest, you can loot Dex’s body in the Eastern Wastelands (the same area you start the quest in), and this pistol is found on his body.

3 Nue

2 Malorian Arms 3516

The Malorian Arms 3516 is an Iconic Weapon that falls into the Power Weapon typing. This weapon is the custom-made pistol of Johnny Silverhand, making it a one-of-a-kind item. It boasts an impressive damage of anywhere between 213 and 264. The fact that it’s modeled after Johnny Silverhand, and it has amazing damage makes this the perfect pistol.

During the side quest “Chippin’ In,” V will be sneaking into Ebunike with Rogue. During this quest, you will run into Greyson. If you are able to subdue him, you can take this weapon from him while he is out.

1 La Chingona Dorada

In order to obtain this weapon, you must complete the “The Heist” main quest and send Jackie to his family or the Ripperdoc. From there, you can obtain the side quest “Heroes.” During this quest, return to where you made offerings in El Coyote Cojo. You can find this pistol there.
