Over a decade on from the first Bluku! Bluku! EP (a stone-cold classic, by the way) and D Double E is back with its long-awaited sequel. Preceded by videos for “G’s Only” late last year and “Roll Up” at the end of May, Bluku! Bluku! 2 EP has now landed, packing six new tracks and two features from Novelist and Chip.
The original was a huge release when it came out: the title track is as well-loved today as it was back then and it boasted a huge rollcall of A-list contributors, including Dizzee Rascal, Example, and Smurfie Syco, as well as production from Footsie, Skream, S-X, Toddla T and more. This time round, he’s kept the producer pool to a small cast of trusted collaborators. Handling the beats for the sequel are Swindle, Silencer, Diamondz, Silencer, Bluey, and Raseye—and there’s even one of his own productions in there, too.
