Damian Lillard is currently “tweeting through it” as the kids like to say.
A recent report from Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald stated that Lillard only wants to be traded to the Miami Heat after ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Lillard’s agent, Aaron Goodwin, was attempting to get him there by any means necessary. He is also discouraging other teams from trying to trade for him.
When Goodwin was asked about that, he didn’t exactly deny it.
“I do what I should for my client. Some teams I did call. Other teams have called me,” Goodwin said. “It’s a respectful relationship with most teams. Truthfully, he wants to play in Miami. Period.”
Lillard has obviously seen those reports and offered up a two-word tweet to them on Thursday night:
“I’m amazed,” Lillard tweeted.

He was then asked why he was amazed before responding:
“At how people could know so much and so little at the same time,” Lillard tweeted.

The Blazers do plan to honor Lillard’s trade request but they’re not just going to give him away for nothing.
