Damian Lillard currently remains the face of the Trail Blazers, but that could change at a moment’s notice.
During this Tuesday’s edition of “Get Up,” ESPN insider Brian Windhorst provided an update on Lillard’s future in Portland.
Lillard reportedly wants the Trail Blazers to add proven talent to their roster this offseason.
“Dame does not want a youth movement,” Windhorst said. “He wants to play with veterans. He wants the team to upgrade fast and immediately with veteran players who can help him now.”
That being said, Windhorst claims the Trail Blazers haven’t received an enticing offer for the No. 3 pick. If nothing changes, they may very well take Scoot Henderson or Brandon Miller.
Windhorst hinted that Portland could be at odds with Lillard if the front office ends up keeping the third overall pick in this year’s draft.

If the Trail Blazers ultimately choose to enter a full rebuild, Lillard would be the top player available on the trade block.
Lillard has been on Portland’s roster since the 2012 season. He has earned All-Star honors seven times and was named to the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team.
