Damian Lillard is ready to move on,
The Portland Trailblazers guard officially requested a trade over the weekend while making it known Miami Heat is his perferred destination.
There’s another team reportedly interested in the All-Star however and it’s the Philadelphia 76ers.
According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, a potential deal would be done if Philadelphia was willing to include Tyrese Maxey in it. Maxey is reportedly untouchable when it comes to trade talks.

Lillard and All-Star Joel Embiid would arguably make Philadelphia the best team in the Eastern Conference, giving Lillard what he wants: a shot at the NBA championship.
But unless Philadelphia has a change of heart when it comes to Maxey, that seems unlikely to happen.
