Another fan, @collembola, echoed similar words, adding: “Just shows you why the judges score certain people higher scores than they deserve on Saturday night. To keep them out the dance off. Eh Dan?”
A third, @craftyclare13, made some daring accusations, saying: “Dan’s still in because he works for the BBC, not for his dancing!”
Dan has since addressed the social media drama by telling his followers on Instagram not to pay the online trolls any attention.
He insisted that he and his dance partner Nadiya Bychkova are simply focused on their next performance over the weekend, before ending his message by thanking those who have continued to vote for him.
