Dance Deewane Juniors winner Aditya Patil, mentor Pratik say Neetu Kapoor was a motherly figure | Exclusive

We finally have our Dance Deewane Juniors winner! Everyone’s favourite, Aditya Vinod Patil took home the trophy. It is quite a big win for the eight-year-old and his mentor, Pratik Utekar. Together, the duo spread their magic on the stage which reflected on the TV screens and won several hearts. In an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in, Aditya and Pratik spoke about their journey on the show and their camaraderie with each other.

“FEEL GREAT AFTER WINNING THE TROPHY,” SAYS ADITYA

Aditya Patil is on cloud nine after winning the Dance Deewane Juniors trophy. He said, “I feel so great after winning the trophy. Not only mine, but I managed to fulfill my grandmother’s wishes too, by winning the trophy. I would really like to thank the audience for giving me the highest number of votes. It is only because of them that I could win the trophy. So, thank you everyone.”

Talking about his bond with mentor Pratik Utekar, the young one said, “I won only because of him. Pratik sir brought me to where I am today. He made me the winner of this show. He also had to work a lot on me and my dance forms, so I would like to thank him.”

“ADITYA WAS EVERYONE’S FAVOURITE,” SAYS PRATIK UTEKAR

It was a wholesome experience for Pratik, mentoring Aditya. The choreographer said, “It is very different between teaching children and adults. It is a whole different experience. However, Aditya had an X-factor in him, he had a charm which impressed me. He won everyone’s hearts. He was an exceptional dancer already, so I added on more to it. He is a very special kid. Not every child is like him. He was also the judges’ favourite. It was double pressure for me because everyone used to expect exceptional performances from Aditya. I had to come up with something different every time.”

“NEETU KAPOOR WAS A MOTHERLY FIGURE”

Asked who was their favourite judge among Neetu Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, and Marzi Pestonji, Aditya quipped, “It was Neetu ma’am. She never used to criticise me on the show. Even if she had to, she would say that I did well, but I could do better.” Pratik added, “Neetu ma’am’s approach towards children was so warm. She used to love Aditya the most. She would say, “Aditya took my heart.” She also vouched for him the most in front of celebrity guests. Neetu ma’am has a big heart. Her every comment had a positive note. We saw her as a motherly figure.”

The winner of Dance Deewane Juniors was announced on July 17. The kids dance TV reality show premiered on Colors TV.
