With 16,069 new daily recoveries, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.47%, while the fatality rate remained unchanged at 1.20%.
India’s new daily closed cases stand at 16,120 — 51 deaths and 16,069 recoveries.
The five most affected states by total cases are Maharashtra (8019391), Kerala (6693008), Karnataka (3986320), Tamil Nadu (3517777), and Andhra Pradesh (2327073).
The five states with the most active cases are West Bengal (30791), Kerala (24033), Tamil Nadu (17085), Maharashtra (15525), and Karnataka (7569).
The five states with the highest fatalities are Maharashtra (148026), Kerala (70279), Karnataka (40131), Tamil Nadu (38030), and Delhi (26292).
