David Dickinson is a presenter who has been presenting various TV shows for years including Bargain Hunt, The David Dickinson Show and Dickinson’s Name Your Price.
The 81-year-old presenter has most famously been presenting the ITV daytime show Dickinson’s Real Deal since 2006.
The show, which has a US version called Real Deal, sees members of the public bringing antiques and collectables to sell to a dealer or take to the auction.
David was born in Cheadle Heath in Stockport, Cheshire, and continues to live in the county with his wife Lorne Lesley now.
The couple, who have two grown-up children and grandchildren, live in the village of Prestbury in Cheshire.
The presenter lives in a lavish penthouse that he bought for £1.5million in 2018.
The house was located next door to Wayne and Coleen Rooney but the couple have since moved.
David told The Mirror in 2018 that the property had the “wow factor”.
He told the publication: “The security is marvellous. When I go away with work, it’s good to know (wife) Lorne feels safe.
“When we walked in, it really had the wow factor.”
Properties in Prestbury had an overall average price of £771,839 over the last year, according to the UK’s largest property portal, Rightmove.
The majority of sales in Prestbury during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £947,050.
Flats sold for an average of £450,216, with terraced properties fetching £371,722.
Overall, sold prices in Prestbury over the last year were similar to the previous year and nine percent up on the 2017 peak of £708,022.
