(Batters: Vimal Khumar, Shivam Singh, S Arun) Vimal Khumar may have some value in TNPL 2023 as the southpaw left a positive impression with a knock of 43 while opening the innings. There’s a question mark over the performance of the rest of the batters as the likes of Shivam Singh and S Arun have little to show from their recent performances.

(All-rounders: R Ashwin, P Saravana Kumar, M Mathivanan) R Ashwin is the iconic player for the side and an IPL champion while Medium pacer P Sravana Kumar picked seven wickets last TNPL and is capable of playing big shots down the order. Left-arm orthodox M Mathivanan will aim to do better as he took just four wickets last season and had limited contribution with the bat.

(Bowlers: Varun Chakravarthy, G Kishoor, S Kumar, V Diran) Varun Chakravarthy is the side’s trump card with 17 wickets in IPL 2023 while pacer G Kishoor is a good buy as the former Salem Spartans bowler took six wickets in four games last season. Pacer Subodh Bhati has little to speak of from his domestic season meanwhile VP Diran too had a bad last season with just two wickets.

RTW key players: (Wicket-keeper: Mani Bharathi) Mani Bharathi is certain to start behind the stumps as the ‘keeper played decent knocks with the bat.

(Batters: Ganga Sridhar Raju, Jafer Jamal, Akshay Srinivasan, Daryl Ferrario) G Sridhar Raju is another of important acquisition at the auction as the batter scored 230 runs last season for Kovai Kings. Daryl Ferrario scored a half-century last season but struggle to find consistency. He was a handly right-arm off-spinner as well. Both Akshay Srinivasan and Jaferr Jamal will like to forget his form from last season.

(All-rounders: Anthony Dhas, K Azeem G Godson, R Rajkumar) Anthony Dhas, R Rajkumar, and G Godson had little impact with the bat and ball last season and will look to turn things around this season.

(Bowlers: T Natarajan, K Eashwaran, R Silambarasan, A Davidson, R Alexander) T Natarajan didn’t have the best of IPL but could still be a handful for his rivals given his experience. Right-arm pacer K Eashwaran took nine wickets last season and has a knack for picking wickets in a bunch.

Medium pacer R Silambarasan was a key bowler for Madurai Panthers last season with nine wickets including a four-wicket haul and also did well for Tamil Nadu in Vijay Hazare Trophy. Fellow pacer Athisayaraj Davidson was a vital part of the Nellai Royal Kings with nine wickets. Ramadoos Alexander was another important buy at the auction with 10 wickets Chepauk Super Gillies in TNPL 2022.
