Dead & Company are extending their farewell tour by one night.
The popular Grateful Dead offshoot — featuring Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, John Mayer, Bob Weir, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti — have added a third date, July 16, to its tour-ending stand at Oracle Park in San Francisco.
Dead & Company is now set to perform July 14-16 at the home of the San Francisco Giants.
Tickets to the July 16 show go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 21, deadandcompany.com.
Dead & Company have also added a second night — June 24 — at Fenway Park in Boston
The group announced on social media back in September that it was embarking on its final tour.
“Word travels fast and we wanted to be the first to let you know that Dead & Company will be hitting the road next summer for what will be our final tour,” the band posted on its twitter page, twitter.com/deadandcompany. “Stay tuned for a full list of dates for what will surely be an exciting, celebratory, and heartfelt last run of shows.”
