Neighbours were evacuated as a deadly house fire ripped through a house in the south of South Australia.
Emergency services were called to McIntosh Street in Mount Gambier following reports of a house fire just before 6am on Sunday.
Surrounding neighbours were woken to evacuation orders as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze.

One person managed to escape the fire without injury.
However, once firefighters were able to put out the blaze, they entered the property and discovered a second person’s body inside.
Detectives are investigating and police will prepare a report for the coroner.
Investigators will attend the scene on Sunday to try to determine the cause of the fire.
