The Vauxhall – which had a learner plate on it – was held together with duct tape. Officers discovered the vehicle this morning in Telford, Shropshire, and found the driver had no insurance.
The front of the car clinging on with the tape, reports Birmingham Live.
But West Mercia Police have now seized the car.
TelfordCops wrote on Twitter: “Can you guess what caught our eye with this car…turns out as well as the front held on by duct tape, the driver decided to not bother paying for insurance.
“Not only is insurance a legal requirement, they would likely have paid for a proper repair! Seized & reported.”

Motorists risk invalidating their car insurance by loading their car with presents, especially if they block the back window or block the driver’s vision.
Rules 200 to 203 outline that drivers should be able to clearly see the road and be able to check for pedestrians, cyclists or obstructions by using all of their mirrors.
If the boot is filled up with gifts or luggage which blocks the view of the back window, drivers should be extra cautious.
