Delhi Police has solved a 3-year-old blind murder case and arrested a 24-year-old man.
The Shastri Park Metro police station officials a 24-year-old man, Yusuf, a resident of Delhi’s Kanti Nagar East Delhi.
On November 27, 2019, police were informed about a dead body lying near a liquor shop at Metro Mall in Seelampur and an inquest proceeding was undertaken.

During the course of the investigation, all concerning records and relatives and friends of the deceased were analysed thoroughly, in which it is revealed that the prime suspect in this case was Yusuf, as he was last seen with the deceased.
The accused, Yusuf, was asked to join the investigation on August 2. He initially denied committing the crime.
On scrutiny of technical and scientific evidence, it was revealed that on the day of the incident, he had frequent and long conversations with the deceased, Firoz, and the location of accused Yusuf and deceased Firoz remained the same for more than 1 hour and after that, Yusuf’s phone was switched off.
