It’s safe to say that Dennis Rodman isn’t the biggest fan of Larry Bird’s game.

In a recent interview, Rodman proclaimed that if Bird played in today’s era, he would likely be in Europe.

Rodman said that Nikola Jokic, a two-time NBA MVP and reigning league champion, is “way better” than him.

Jokic and Bird aren’t exactly the same kind of player, of course, so comparing the two is a bit of a stretch.

Still, it’s clear that Rodman is not the biggest fan of what he saw from Bird in his playing days.

Players from the ’70s and ’80s would likely have a hard time matching today’s strength and athleticism, but we’re guessing that a player like Bird would find a way.

Was Rodman over the line with his comments on Bird?
