Denver PrideFest is back in a big way this year. Here’s what to expect.

Denver Pride is back and fully in person this year for the first time since 2019. The two-day celebration takes place on Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, June 26, and features everything from marches and live performances to a brand new sober area. Denver PrideFest, held both days in Civic Center park, will host more than 250 exhibitors and 30 food and drink vendors and aims to bring the community “together with Pride.”

Sprint into the celebration with the Denver Pride 5K

Beginning and ending on the west steps of the State Capitol, the Denver Pride 5K kicks off the weekend at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Participants can take part — at any speed they please — to help the Center on Colfax raise its goal of $100,000 for LGBTQIA+ programming. Participants can begin arriving at the west steps to stretch, grab their goodie bags and racing bibs (if they haven’t already), and check out booths at 8 a.m.

Also, don’t forget to check out Volleypalooza right before — the Colorado Gay Volleyball Association’s annual Pride grass volleyball tournament. While registration is now closed, members of the community can come cheer on their favorite teams starting at 9 a.m. and continuing into the afternoon.

Spend the day at Denver PrideFest

Starting Saturday at 11 a.m. at Civic Center, Denver’s two-day PrideFest will host more than 250 vendors and feature three stages where live performers will entertain all day. Headliners this year include Australian pop singer Betty Who; “RuPaul’s Drag Race” fan favorites Kylie Sonique Love and Silky Nutmeg Ganache; singer and DJ Cazwell; and winner of RuPaul’s 11th season, Denver’s own Yvie Oddly.

PrideFest will be filled with live music from DJs and entertainers, including performances on Denver Pride’s Latinx stage. The festival is estimated to draw in over 500,000 people and goes until 7 p.m. on Saturday, then 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
