Desert Daze is a multi-day and multi-stage festival that prides itself on producing an intimate atmosphere. It features interactive and immersive art around the lake and throughout the festival. The music curation at the festival features various genres, including jazz, synth-pop, psychedelic and different styles of rock. A festival attendee this year described it as a “cross between Coachella and Burning Man.”
This year’s lineup included Aussie-psychedelic rockers Tame Impala, which played the entirety of “Lonerism,” the album that celebrated its own 10th anniversary. It also featured a face-melting performance by King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard and other notable performances from Chicano Batman, Kikagaku Moyo, Shannon and The Clams, The Marías and Show Me The Body.
The lineup for Desert Daze 2023 has not yet been announced.
