For weekend one, performances will include DJ sets from New York-based record label DFA Records in the Amigo Room on Thursday; Link Up, the party by Andre Powers of Soulection Radio, will headline poolside on Friday and Saturday; sets from DJs over at Dublab, a Los Angeles-based radio station, will perform poolside and The Do-Over takes over with various DJ sets at The Commune on Sunday.
Activations by Pitchfork Live will also be on-site throughout the first weekend conducting live and exclusive interviews, showcasing intimate live performances and DJ sets curated by Pitchfork’s favorite artists and music editors.
For weekend two, performances will start with Los Angeles-based party The Deep End with Briggs in the Amigo Room on Thursday; Los Angeles-based record label Stones Throw will host sets by label founder Peanut Butter Wolf, Novemna Carmel and others poolside on Friday and Saturday; Dublab will be back for a second weekend with sets from various DJs poolside and The Do-Over will also be back at The Commune on Sunday.
Per tradition at Desert Gold, guests can also check out the new large-scale mural on the Commune Wall at the venue, created by artist and illustrator Kim Sielbeck. This year’s piece is titled “Superbloom” and showcases springtime in the desert.
