The Diablo 4 Necromancer Legendary Aspects will turn your favorite undead-loving warrior into a tougher killing machine. Naturally, you’ll want to obtain a mix of those from gear pieces and dungeons. Here’s our guide to help you with the best Necromancer Legendary Aspects in Diablo 4.
The best Necromancer Legendary Aspects in Diablo 4
For our Diablo 4 Necromancer best Legendary Aspects guide, we’ve chosen a select few among those that come from item extraction only, and those from the Codex of Power. For the latter types, you may also refer to our dungeon locations guide.
General functions: Available to all classes
These “general” aspects can be used by any class. These are the ones that we prefer for the Necromancer.
Vigo’s Protecting Amulet
- Source: The item itself comes from Vigo, a character that you’ll encounter during the game’s first act. Although you receive this item quite early, the effect can be quite a lifesaver.
- Effect: When hit while not healthy, a magical bubble is summoned around you for six seconds, making you immune to all damage while you’re standing in it; can only occur once every 90 seconds.
Aspect of Might
- Source: Dry Steppes – Dark Ravine
- Effect: Basic skills grant +20% damage reduction for two seconds – Considering how often you spam your basic skills, this is a must-have.
Rapid Aspect
- Source: Dry Steppes – Buried Halls
- Effect: Basic skills gain +15% attack speed – Aspect of Might gives a better boon for your basic attacks, but this isn’t far behind.
Aspect of Inner Calm
- Source: Scosglen – Raethwind Wilds
- Effect: Deal 5% increased damage for each second you stand still, up to 30% – Minion-focused Necromancers will tend to stand still, letting the undead do the work for them. As such, it’s easy to achieve high uptime with the max benefits.
Necromancer Minion Aspects
Some of the best Necromancer Legendary Aspects in Diablo 4 are those that affect your undead minions. This is because of how integral they are in combat. While your character isn’t really a glass cannon, having a dozen shambling corpses running around to lay waste to foes never gets old.
Skeletal Warriors (Additional)
- Source: Legendary item drops (RNG)
- Effect: +2 Skeletal Warriors (any type) – Just imagine having six bony shieldbearers running around.
Skeletal Mages (Additional)
- Source: Legendary item drops (RNG)
- Effect: +2 Skeletal Mages (any type) – Not really that useful on its own, until you get…
Skeletal Mages (Cold)
- Source: Legendary item drops (RNG)
- Effect: Every 10 seconds, your Cold Skeletal Mages cast a Blizzard that deals X Cold damage, continuously chilling enemies for 8% over six seconds – Now we’re talking! Think of having five Cold Skeletal Mages, all casting Blizzard, and eventually causing hostiles to freeze. Combine that with the perk that causes enemies to become vulnerable, and you’ve got a crowd-control debuffer.
Aspect of Reanimation
- Source: Scosglen – Aldurwood
- Effect: Your Skeletons gain increased damage while alive, up to 20% after 10 seconds.
Hulking Aspect
- Source: Kehjistan – Sepulcher of the Forsworn (Altar of Ruin Stronghold)
- Effect: Your Golem has a 1% chance to reduce its active cooldown by two seconds, and a 1% chance to spawn a corpse each time it damages an enemy with its normal attack.
Unyielding Commander’s Aspect
- Source: Hawezar – Faceless Shrine
- Effect: While Army of the Dead is active, your minions gain +70% attack speed and take 90% reduced damage – Your AotD ultimate won’t just be saved for later use. Instead, it’ll be your opener when you need your minions to rip a boss apart.
Necromancer Blood Aspects
Lastly, we take a look at the Diablo 4 best Necromancer Legendary Aspects when focusing on Blood abilities. Blood skills tend to be viable for leveling and the endgame, thanks to Fortify effects, Overpower, extra healing, and AoE blasts.
Blood-bathed Aspect
- Source: Fractured Peaks – Hoarfrost Demise
- Effect: Blood Surge’s nova echoes again after a short delay, dealing 70% less damage – Most of your damage will come from Blood Surge AoE blasts. As such, additional novas are always great to have.
Fastblood Aspect
- Source: Hawezar – Iron Hold
- Effect: Blood Orbs reduce your ultimate cooldown by 0.5 seconds – Considering how often you’ll generate Blood Orbs thanks to Hemorrhage spamming, you’re bound to quickly reduce your ultimate skill’s cooldown (i.e., Army of the Dead/AotD).
Blood Mist (Shadow and movement speed)
- Source: Legendary item drops (RNG)
- Effect: Blood Mist leaves a trail that lasts for four seconds, dealing X Shadow damage per second to enemies standing in it; your movement speed is no longer reduced while Blood Mist is active – Blood Mist won’t just be your panic button. Instead, it does a relatively small amount of damage, while also becoming viable for repositioning.
