Diablo 4’s servers were down over the weekend due to DDOS attacks, after which Blizzard issued extended maintenance on both Monday and Tuesday. Following Tuesday’s maintenance, Blizzard deployed a “big” patch for the most recent Diablo entry, packing buffs to classes and aspects. In addition, this update contained numerous fixes and improvements. In addition, this update greatly increased Nightmare dungeon experience. We’ve included the patch notes related to the increased experience in Nightmare Dungeons below:
-
Significantly increased the experience awarded for completing Nightmare Dungeons.
-
Significantly increased the experience gained from killing monsters in Nightmare Dungeons.
-
Players can now teleport to their Nightmare Dungeon directly through the map.
Diablo 4 is available worldwide now for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X\S, and Xbox One. Still in doubt about whether you should pick up and play Blizzard’s latest Diablo entry? Read our review here. Without spoiling too much, here’s what Alessio Palumbo wrote in his article:
“Combat is fast, frantic, and most importantly, incredibly fun. Every single aspect contributes to that awesome feeling, from the silky smooth animations to the punchy sound effects and the lovely visual effects. It’s Blizzard’s polish at its finest. Pick up any class and from what I’ve played, you’re bound to be satisfied by its power fantasy. The Barbarian crushes foes with relentless power; the Druid flows seamlessly from its many forms, hurling lightning a second before mauling its foes as a werebeast; and the Rogue successfully melds World of Warcraft’s Hunter and Rogue classes into one, successfully mixing the archer and assassin playstyles.”
