It’s safe to say Dick Vitale isn’t buying the idea that LeBron James could retire from the NBA this offseason.
Following the Lakers’ playoff exit on Monday night, James told reporters that he was unsure of what the future has in store for him.
“I got a lot to think about,” James said. “Just personally, with me moving forward with the game of basketball, I got a lot to think about.”
On Wednesday afternoon, Vitale had a hilarious response to James’ cryptic comments.
“I have a better chance of growing hair & being voted the SEXIEST dude on tv by @people than @KingJames retiring before the 23-24season,” Vitale tweeted.

Vitale isn’t the only person who feels this way. With two years, $97 million remaining on James’ deal with the Lakers, there’s certainly a strong chance he returns for at least one more season.
James, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, has not revealed when he’ll make a final decision.
