Did Demi Moore sneak her dog into the Louvre for Mona Lisa photo op?

Demi Moore either snuck her dog Pilaf into the Louvre museum in Paris where all pets, except for service dogs, are prohibited, or the movie star was granted a privilege not offered to mere mortals.

Whatever went down, Moore posted photos of her little dog in front of the Mona Lisa on Instagram Wednesday, as well as a photo of the dog tucked into her blouse. “Pilaf takes the Louvre,” the “G.I. Jane” star captioned the photo display.

The photos prompted people online to ask how Moore, 59, was able to bring Pilaf into the Louvre, as the museum’s website specifically says that all animals — with the exception of guide and assistance dogs — are prohibited from entering the world-famous institution, the Daily Mail said.

Someone else wrote in reply to Moore’s photos: “Sad when celebrities abuse their fame and take their pets in places we common folk can’t. The Louvre has a no pet policy with a service animal exemption. Demi Moore you should know better.”

Others assumed that Moore may have been granted a private viewing, since there were none of the usual crowds obstructing her view of the early 16th century masterpiece by Leonardo da Vinci. The Daily Mail said it had reached out to Moore’s representative for an explanation about how the dog was permitted inside.
