Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi will be seen together in Raj Mehta’s upcoming film, Selfiee. Akshay will be seen playing the role of superstar Vijay Kumar. On the other hand, Emraan will be seen as RTO officer Om Prakash Agarwal. Going by the trailer and songs, it will be a treat to watch ‘superstar’ Akshay and his ‘biggest fan’ Emraan on the big screen together.

Talking about Akshay Kumar, in particular, he will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in Selfiee. Going by the trailer and songs, Akshay as superstar has absolutely nailed it and how! Given that Akshay is playing Superstar, here’s a funny anecdote from the sets of Selfiee that will leave you in splits.

Well, during the shoot of the theatre sequence in Selfiee, the set was decorated with the mock movie posters of ‘Don’t Angry Me’. It tricked a lot of outsiders into believing that it’s an actual movie starring Akshay Kumar. And not just that, they were also trying to buy tickets. Hilarious, isn’t it? For the uninitiated, a massive 30ft standee of Akshay was built for the theatre sequence.

Akshay Kumar is currently busy promoting Selfiee with co-star Emraan Hashmi. The Raj Mehta directorial also stars Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha. So far, the Selfiee trailer and songs – Main Khiladi, Kudiyee Ni Teri and Kudi Chamkeeli have managed to win hearts. Fans are beyond excited about the upcoming release.
