Diljit Dosanjh has offered a song to veteran Punjabi singer Inderjit Nikku after a video of him talking about his financial struggles made its way online. Inderjit Nikku, known for delivering hits like Ik Kudi Mere Supne Ch Aai, Sardari, and Paggri among others, had broken into tears as he spoke about his financial and career issues. The video in question saw Inderjit Nikku talking to a saint, telling him that he is a singer and has gotten no work for a long time. He added that he also has a lot of debt on him. The saint then repeated his three problems into a mic, saying, “One is his health; another is his career and scarcity of money, and the last is that he is not happy in his professional life.”
The singer broke into tears as the saint offered him blessings and assured him his career will soon see a better phase. His wife who was sitting next to him also broke down. The saint asked Inderjit to sing something for them and asked him not to cry while the singer continued to sob. The video of the incident surfaced on social media and garnered a lot of reactions.
Reacting to this video, Inderjit shared a picture of Inderjit on his Instagram Stories, and promised him a song in his next film. Diljit’s message in Punjabi read, “Many had started tying the turban as he did after seeing him and I was also one of them. Whenever I shoot the next film, please sing one song for me.”

Diljit will soon be seen in Jogi, his fourth Hindi film after Good Newwz, Soorma, and Udta Punjab. In the film, Diljit plays a Punjabi man trying to protect his family during Anti-Sikh Riots in Delhi in 1984. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial also stars Kumud Mishra, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Hiten Tejwani and Amyra Dastur and will premiere on Netflix on September 16.
