Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim welcomed their first child, a baby boy on 21st June. On Thursday, Dipika and Shoaib shared an aww-dorable first photo of their little munchkin on Instagram. They didn’t reveal their baby’s face. In the adorable pic, Dipika is seen sweetly kissing her son. On the other hand, Shoaib is holding his little munchkin.

The couple shared the pic and wrote in the caption, “RUHAAN (heart eyes emoji) Thank you for keeping him in your prayers #amonthalready #blessed #Alhumdullilah.”

Reacting to the post, Sambhavna Seth dropped a comment saying, “God bless.” Gauahar Khan commented, “Blessings.” Fans too showered love on them. A fan dropped a comment saying, “always keep smiling Ruhaan.” Another fan commented, “Many many congratulations… May Allah bless him.” “Shoaib aur Dipika ki jaan unka pyaar sa Ruhaan (heart eyes and nazar amulet emojis),” wrote a fan.
Earlier, in a YouTube video, Dipika and Shoaib had revealed their son’s name. The actor had revealed that the name Ruhaan was chosen by Dipika. “We really liked the name a lot and were sure about it,” added Shoaib.
For the uninitiated, Dipika had a premature delivery and her baby boy was in NICU. Dipika took her baby boy home three weeks after giving birth to him.
Earlier this year, it was reportedly that she will quit acting after welcoming her first child. Later, the actress dismissed the reports. The rumours started after Dipika said in an interview, “As my pregnancy journey began, I told Shoaib that I don’t want to work and want to quit acting. I want to live as a housewife and mother.”
Later, Dipika clarified her statement on quitting acting and told ETimes TV, “Ho sakta hai I won’t work for next four-five years or I might soon get offered something very good and I might accept it also. Aisa bhi ho sakta hai that I might feel that I want to give my first four-five years to my kid. All this I can say when I welcome my baby.” Dipika is currently enjoying motherhood.
