The Happiest Place on Earth is also one of the safest — with police responding once or twice a day on average to the Anaheim theme parks that attract millions of visitors annually.

Anaheim Police Department call logs for June 1 through July 31 show what types of crimes officers responded to at Disneyland.

The Anaheim Police data includes the date, time and type of the call — such as petty theft, brandishing a firearm or disturbing the peace for example.

The Anaheim Police Department call logs also include the disposition of the case — whether officers booked a suspect, filed a report or issued a citation or warning. In some cases, calls are canceled or no further action is required.

Trespassing involves entering or remaining on a property without permission. Petty theft is less than $950 while grand theft is more than $950. Assault and battery involves the use of force or violence. Drunk in public can involve picking fights, passing out or the inability to care for oneself due to intoxication. Brandishing a firearm or knife involves drawing or exhibiting a weapon in a threatening manner or during a fight — but in the case of Disneyland it almost always involves a weapon that shows up in a backpack at the security checkpoint.

Police calls for lost and found property, patrol checks and miscellaneous incidents were not included in this report.
