Dixie D’Amelio Debuted a Choppy White-Blonde Bowl Cut

Dixie D’Amelio just made a major change to her hair. The TikTok star and influencer just debuted a brand new look at the YSL show at Paris Fashion Week, complete with a fresh shade of bright platinum blonde.

D’Amelio shared a few pics of the transformation to Instagram, adding that she thinks she is having more fun in her blonde era. The bleached white-blonde color comes courtesy Dimitris Giannetos, who is also responsible for the adorable, choppy pixie cut the star is currently sporting. D’Amelio’s hair is cut with long bangs that brush past her dark brows and a touch of length at the nape of her neck, giving the classic cropped cut a 2023 update with some super cool, undone texture.

“We wanted to do a drastic change for Paris Fashion Week and there is no other designer to choose than Saint Laurent,” Giannetos told Allure. “We wanted her hair look to be a very strong statement so I decided to do platinum color and a pixie cut — something to be bold and memorable.” Giannetos said legendary supermodel Linda Evangelista was the inspiration for D’Amelio’s new look.

It took two rounds of bleaching and toning D’Amelio’s hair from a deep blue-black to pale blonde, a painstaking process Giannetos completed over the course of one day. To perfect the tousled, ‘90s Linda Evangelista style post-bleach, Giannetos used Raw Sugar Endless Hair Glow Perfecting Dry Oil to smooth and add shine. “It’s the perfect way to introduce the ’90s supermodel to Gen Z,” he says.
