The university comedy-drama Doctor G, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, was released on Friday, October 14. Ayushmann portrays a gynecologist in Doctor G, and Shefali Shah and Rakul Preet Singh play his fellow medical professionals.
The concept was distinctive, and supporters had high hopes for it. Doctor G, however, has not been able to win over the crowd. Every day, its box office receipts are dropping. On October 14, Doctor G debuted in theatres to mixed reviews from both critics and viewers.

It did not, however, perform well at the box office. The opening weekend of Doctor G brought in almost ₹15 crores. The movie’s box office receipts significantly decreased on Tuesday, October 18. Anubhuti Kashyap’s comedy flick Doctor G is set in a medical college. It is her debut project as a director. Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, and Shefali Shah are the movie’s main actors. It depicts a man’s gynecologist’s difficulties in a room full of ladies.
On October 14, Doctor G issued a threatening statement. Amit Trivedi, Amjad Nadeem Aamir, and Sultan Sulemani wrote the movie’s music. Ketan Sodha wrote the score for the background music.
