Don’t want to cook? These restaurants will be serving Thanksgiving dinner

If you want a traditional Thanksgiving dinner but aren’t up to the cooking, several restaurant chains will be open Thursday, Nov. 24.

Here are some examples at a range of prices. While several chains post special holiday menus with prices and hours, be aware that they may vary by location. Some restaurants advise advance reservations.

Black Angus Steakhouse: A holiday dinner includes sliced turkey, sage dressing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. $25.99, $11.99 for children.  blackangus.com/thanksgiving

Black Bear Diner: Restaurants will be serving a limited holiday menu, including turkey dinners, beginning at 11 a.m., according to the Redding-based chain. blackbeardiner.com

Claim Jumper Steakhouse & Bar: A three-course meal includes turkey and ham for $27, both for $30, and turkey, ham and tri-tip for $33. claimjumper.com

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: Dining rooms will be open and serving turkey dinners for $17.99. They are also available for take-out, according to staff at Southern California locations. crackerbarrel.com
