SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — BART service has been stopped between the 24th Mission Street station and Daly City on the San Francisco Line due to an obstruction on the track, according to a tweet from the transit service. A subsequent tweet from BART identified the obstruction as a tree.

The tree is down between Balboa Park and Daly City stations and is blocking both tracks, according to the tweet. Crews are working to remove it. The disruption is impacting service in the SFO, Millbrae and Daly City directions. Bus service between the 24th Street and Daly City stations is being provided by Muni bus 14R.

SFO-bound trains are turning back at 24th Street Mission Station and Yellow Line trains from SFO are turning back at Daly City.
