Drake Considered Proposing 42 Times, Memorializes Exes With Chain Featuring Diamond Engagement Rings

Drake has memorialized 42 of his ex-partners with a new piece of jewelry that showcases every time he considered popping the question.

Famed Jeweler Alex Moss debuted the new chain on Instagram, which Drizzy called the “Previous Engagements” chain, “for all the times he thought about it but never did it.”

The chain comprises 42 engagement rings, a grand total of 351.38 carats in diamonds.

“This monumental art piece was assembled using 351.38 carats of diamonds, mounted in 15k white gold,” a voiceover narrator says in the post.

The 6 God’s dating list is extensive. Over the years, he’s been spotted in romantic entanglements with Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Tyra Banks, Tika Sumpter and Serena Williams to name a few. Most recently SZA confirmed in an interview with Audacy that she even dated Drizzy at one point.

“In a strange way, I was like, ‘Did they know?’” SZA said in reference to Drake name-dropping her on the 2020 track “Mr. Right Now.” “But they didn’t ask me to be in it. Nobody said anything.”

“I feel like Drake has a Regina George quality to him where it’s just kind of like, ‘Have you or anyone you know been personally victimized?’” she continued. “He’s like a cool kid, you know. When you’re the popular kid in school, it’s entertaining. It’s entertaining, but you sometimes are taking losses in the midst of that entertainment. The honesty, I respect that. But I definitely laughed real hard…I cackled.”

She went on to say, “We’re cool, we’ve always been cool. It’s never been weird. It’s never come completely out of the blue.”

“Anytime he’s ever mentioned me, it’s always been positive,” she concluded. “He’s never said anything negative about me. I’m grateful for that and I think highly of him, and I think it’s really weird that as all these years went past, I am an artist now and I wasn’t then and he’s King Drake.”

Drizzy’s past fling with Tennis star Serena Williams also made headlines recently as Drake called out her husband Alexis Ohanian on his new song “Middle Of The Ocean,” which appeared on his 21 Savage-collab project Her Loss.

“Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie,” Drake raps on the track. “He claim we don’t got a problem but no, boo, it’s like you comin’ for sushi/ We might pop up on ’em at will like Suzuki.”

Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit, actually ended up responding to the insult, writing on Twitter:  “The reason I stay winning is because I’m relentless about being the absolute best at whatever I do — including being the best groupie for my wife & daughter.”
