Drake is a fan of many sports teams, including his hometown Toronto Raptors.
After Toronto took Kansas freshman Gradey Dick with the No. 13 overall pick in last month’s NBA Draft, Drizzy slid in the 19-year-old sharpshooter’s DMs to welcome him to north of the border.
Drake’s message to Dick? “Welcome home.”
He shared that tidbit of info with Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks.

A McDonald’s All-American and the Gatorade National Player of the Year in 2022, Dick excelled in his only season with the Jayhawks, averaging 14.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game while shooting 44.2% from the field, 40.3% from three-point range and 85.4% from the free throw line.
Dick was named second team All-Big 12 and also made the league’s All-Freshman Team.
Through his first two NBA summer league games, the 6-foot-8 wing is still looking to find his shot, going just 8-for-25 from the field in Vegas so far.
