The successful applicant will receive $500 to review the classic Canadian favourite from restaurant chains Smoke’s Poutinerie, Harvey’s and A&W, along with two small local businesses of their choice.
It’s all in an effort to celebrate Food Day Canada on Aug. 5.
“Food Day Canada aims to engage and inspire Canadians to shop, cook and dine Canadian,” PlayOJO said on its website. “It’s a chance for all people to celebrate food across the country.”
The chosen applicant will provide reviews and rankings of the poutines, as well as mouth-watering photos of the fries covered in gravy and cheese curds.

The role of Poutine Tester includes up to $100 to cover the cost of the poutine and a $500 cash prize upon completion of the task.
To become a taster, applicants must fill out the online form and explain why they would be perfect for the gig.
The deadline for applicants is Aug. 7 — oddly, two days after Food Day Canada — at 11:59 p.m. All entrants must be 21 or older and live in Canada.
