As of 27th November 2022, the movie has grossed INR 112.53 crores nett in India and overall collected 150.69 crores in India.  

Critical responses are also positive for the film and rated 4.5 out of 5 and termed the movie a ‘Paisavasool’ experience, the storyline and climax are the key things that added the magic to this movie. Drishyam 2, the sequel of 2015 Drishyam has already surpassed the opening weakened collection at the box office, by tackling Bollywood’s recent highest-grossed movies like Brahmastra, The Kashmir Files, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and Gangubai Kathiawadi. 

The movie minted around Rs 127 Crores at the box office in India, which has become the second-highest opener of the year. After hitting a century on the 7th Day, it has continued to make earnings at an increased amount, pulling the crowds to the theatres.

Drishyam 2 was released on 18th November 2022 at the box office and became the second-highest fits day collection of the Bollywood industry. The movie starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu in the lead roles alongside, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, and Akshaye Khanna had 15.38 crores in earnings on its opening day and saw a massive wave of footfall at the theatres.

According to the Bollywood media reports, Drishyam 2 will likely be released on Amazon Prime Video. the film has been produced by Viacom18 Media PVT LTD, therefore it’s highly likely to be released on Colors channel as it comes under the same media house.

The film has received great appreciation from the critics, who praised the performance of every cast, direction, writing, and cinematography. As the movie is a remake of the Telugu version of Drishyam 2, still it gives a fresh vibe to watch on the silver screens.
