Ismael Bonfim impresses UFC fighters with his DWCS win.
UFC fighters enjoyed the war between Ismael Bonfim and Nariman Abbasov at Dana White’s Contender Series. As the two came out swinging and wasted no time cracking each other. Bonfim won a unanimous decision and seemingly a UFC contract.
Ismael, the older of the Bonfim brothers, competing tonight for a UFC contract, landed the better shots, especially some brutal body shots and a left hook knockdown in the first round. The fight slowed down a bit in the second round, with Bonfim using his reach advantage wisely. The third round was more of the same, distance control and superior striking from Bonfim with a suplex return to finish it off.

Fans were also impressed with his showing.
Bonfim will now cheer on his brother in the hopes they both get UFC contracts, but it seems big brother has done his part.
